About the Summit

What is the Leading Reform Summit?

The Leading Reform Summit is the Queensland Mental Health Commission’s annual two-day forum for leaders in Queensland’s mental health, alcohol and other drugs, suicide prevention and associated human services sectors.

The summit is intended to be a catalyst to align leaders, develop solutions to problems, introduce new strategies, fuel collaboration, spark ideas, harness the collective knowledge of sector leaders and drive the reform agenda forward.

Essentially, the summit engages leaders in leading and delivering the essential reforms necessary to deliver better outcomes for individuals, the broader population and the system. It’s an opportunity to develop a collective position around reform priorities for the next 1-5 years, grounded in best practice and contemporary evidence.
