Ballroom Le Grand

The Summit will be held in the Ballroom Le Grand conference centre. The venue is accessible via ramp and lift, has natural light and wireless internet access.

A separate quiet space staffed by a support worker is also available to delegates who may be distressed and need to take time out from the Summit.

Summit delegates needing accommodation should make their reservation directly with the hotel via the link below to receive a special rate exclusive to this event.

Bookings must be made before
9 November to access this special rate and the link will expire thereafter. A valid credit card will be required to book and payment will be taken on arrival. Rooms will be subject to availability at the time of booking.

Arriving by taxi or ride share

Drop off at Sofitel Brisbane Central main entrance at 249 Turbot Street Brisbane.

Sofitel Brisbane Central is a 20-minute taxi ride via AirportLink Tollway from Brisbane Airport.

Arriving by car / car parking

The Sofitel Brisbane Central car park is located under the building.

  • In-house guests (24 hours self-parking) = $49
  • Public parking rate 4+ hours = $65
Other car parks are located nearby.

Arriving by bus

Search the Translink Journery Planner for bus routes to the city. A Translink Go Card is required for most bus services into the Brisbane CBD.

Within the CBD, the free City Loop (clockwise route 40 and anti-clockwise route 50) provides high-frequency services with bus stops near the venue. 

Arriving from Brisbane Airport

Direct access from Brisbane Airport is via a 20 minute trip on the Brisbane Airtrain to Central Station. A Translink Go Card is required.

Central Station is located directly below the Sofitel Brisbane Central (a two-minute walk from reception).

Arriving by train

Central Station is located directly below the Sofitel Brisbane Central. A Translink Go Card is required. 

  • Go to Translink for fares and timetables. 
  • Take the Airtrain from Brisbane Airport to Central Station.
